Truth Connect was in Eldoret, Kenya to teach a Leadership Training Conference (LTC) in October, 2018. Pastors Martin and Anne Shikuku and the Glory Baptist Church hosted the LTC for the third year in a row. The theme for the LTC was the same as Dr. Don's most recent book,
Church Leadership: Pastors & Deacons, Qualifications and Roles. Pastors Martin and Alfred translated the book into Swahili and copies were given to each LTC participant. One hundred twelve leaders attended the two-day conference. There was great joy among leaders for the Word of God and the Holy Spirit's leading in the sessions.

| The weekend before the LTC, Pastor Martin and Dr. Don visited Sinoko Christian School near the town of Kitale. The school was holding a special prayer meeting for the students preparing to take their national exams the following week. Dr. Don was asked to deliver the address and word of encouragement.
