Palm Sunday in Port de Paix, Haiti

Truth Connect had a ministry team in Haiti in April, 2014 to conduct a Leadership Training Conference (see previous blog posts).  On the team's final day in Port de Paix, they joined Pastor & Mrs. Cherelus Exante and the New Haitian Mission Baptist Churches of northern Haiti in worship.  Pastor Philippe was the host pastor - we have been meeting in this church for the past 15 years.  A number of church choirs sang as did the United States Men's International group led by Ed Miller.  During the service, the church recognized a newly married couple, those baptized the previous day and two women were dedicated to service as deaconesses.  Dr. David Pitkins, from Johnstown, PA delivered the sermon.  It was a wonderful time of worship and praise before the Lord Jesus Christ.  Truth Connect thanks Dr. and Mrs. Cherelus Exante and all the ministers and churches in Port de Paix for their kindness and help during the ministry week.
