Truth Connect has been in Eldoret, Kenya the week of October 13-18, 2015 presenting a Leadership Training Conference (LTC). Pastor Chris Luswetti and The Word of Life Harvest Church hosted the third annual event. Church leaders from as far away as Uganda came for the week to learn God's Word, leadership principle and to be encouraged. Many of the leaders slept on mats in the host church sanctuary and the church provided daily meals. The training team consisted of Mr. Richard Rohde, Mr. & Mrs. Ron & Joanne Braley, and was I was the team leader. Each day of the conference we met in the church sanctuary and taught from 9:30 to 3:30 - "ish" (times vary due to many circumstances). At the end of the conference certificates of participation were awarded ~ the certificate is a highly prized document. Finally, in appreciation for our presence and teaching, we were given a variety of gifts by the participants ~ a very nice gesture. It was a great week of training and growth for all of us. We are already looking forward to next year's LTC.
