Truth Connect was in Africa to teach Leadership Training Conferences ~ two in Kenya and one in Uganda (see previous posts). Don visited Raising Up Hope for Uganda's (RUHU) ministry in Kampala. The story of RUHU is truly amazing ~ how Patrick, a boy with his sister living as orphaned street-kids in the dangerous slums of Kampala, was called by God to protect, care-for and lead other orphaned street-kids to health, safety and ultimately to Jesus Christ (learn the whole story at RUHU's web site https://raisinguphopeforuganda.org). William Bukenya, co-director of RUHU and Truth Connect's Leadership Training coordinator in Uganda, took Don on a tour of their schools in Bulenga. It was a joyful, fun and exciting time with the many children being helped by RUHU.
