Muslims Are Falling In Love With Jesus

Hundreds of thousands of Muslims are falling in love with Jesus!  God is doing great things in some of the hardest to reach Muslim people groups.  How is He doing this?

In the exciting book, Miraculous Movements [Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 2012], Jerry Trousdale tells story after story of how Jesus is saving thousands of Muslims, whole families and even entire mosques.  The gospel is spreading through Disciple Making Movements where, "disciples are made who learn to obey the Word of God and quickly make other disciples, who then repeat the process.  This results in many new churches being planted, frequently in regions that were previously very hostile to Christianity."

Miraculous movements are spreading across the Muslim world. Trousdale states, "In our own ministry context, 'unprecedented' is used to describe the following:

  • multiple cases of entire mosques coming to faith;
  • thousands of ordinary men and women being used by God to achieve seemingly impossible outcomes;
  • tens of thousand of Muslim background Christians becoming dedicated intercessors who fast and pray for the gospel to penetrate the next community;
  • Muslim people group that never had even one church among them now have more than fifty churches planted, and in some cases more than on hundred churches-within two years of engagement; and
  • former sheikhs, imams, and militant Islamist making up 20 percent or more of the new Christian leaders in Muslim regions.
A few weeks ago I blogged about the book A Better Way.  It clearly describes what discipleship is, looks like and how to make disciples.  Miraculous Movements is the perfect sequel to A Better Way.  The same disciple-making principles are used to reach some the most difficult people groups with amazing results. Why?  Because Jesus modeled and then commanded his disciples to, "Go, make disciples of all nations...baptizing...and teaching them to observe all I have taught you.  And remember, I  am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).

Yes, Jesus is with us - right here, right now!  I loved the stories in Miraculous Movements that told how Jesus appeared to a number of Muslims in their dreams and gave them instructions on how to learn the truth about God.  God is still working miracles today to confirm his gospel message, his gospel messengers, and his great love in Christ for all people.

Miraculous Movements is one of the best book I have read describing what God is doing today to reach people with his love in Christ.
