Truth Connect's August 2014 Leadership Training Conference (LTC) in Cap Haitien, Haiti was a great success! Each day approximately 55 church leaders gathered to study the Scriptures and learn the "Qualifications of a Church Leader" as found in 1 Timothy 3. Pastor Aleonce Bazile was the host pastor and organizer. He is a long-time, close friend who faithfully leads churches in Haiti and the Bahamas.
Kim & Scott Smith partnered with Truth Connect to provide training to preschool teachers (see previous post).
LTC attendees received training materials and meals that were generously provided by TC sponsors. Truth Connect is so grateful to all of those who supported the LTC with their prayers and financial gifts. Without TC sponsors and donors the LTCs would not happen. Thank you!
At the end of the LTC, attendees are given certificates of participation. The certificates are a BIG DEAL. Many of the attendees have no official documents of schooling or specialized training. The certificates acknowledge their conference participation and are also a proud badge of achievement.
